your boost or baro sensor could be unplugged

the boost sensor is located on the passenger side of the valley on the intake manifold, there is a small pigtail harness coming off of it. its kinda burried down there

you are the man 2500HD, it was just like you said the boost sensor plug was not snaped in all way! couple more questions

how do you know for sure that the new injectors are not failing? is there a pressure tester i can buy that will go on shrader valve that will tell me? i just want to be sure before i start driving long distance.

what is the norm oil pressure at idle and under power? mine is about 40lbs idle and close to 80lbs when on the pedal. i dont remember it spiking like that but i didnt pay that close of attention either (after all i only have the truck for 9+ years HAHA)

there is a shrader valve located next to the alternator, but that's for testing for vacuum, basicaly tells you the condition of your fuel filter.

you can do a balance rate test and some other tests, but the main thing is that it holds desired rail pressure

is there a way for me to check that (balance rate, and/or the rail pressure) or do i need to take it to dealer?

2500HD I saw a post that you had on here with the elevated oil pressure. what was the outcome? issue? i dont want to hurt the truck and as i said the pressure shoots up to 80lbs when on gas and 40lbs at idle

you will need a good scan tool for balance rates, i had high oil pressure, 80psi is sorta high since the oil pressure spec is something like 65 psi at 3200 rpms. from what most other dmax owners has 80 psi is normal for them too
